As I have stated in the forum Education is in a continuous change and during the last decades the tendency has been the same to incorporate the technology of the computers in our daily life.
Obviously, the ICTs are present in education more than ever and the advantages are so many that it is imposible to think on education without ICTs. The use of ICTs fosters motivation to the students. It is the key to get positive results to motivat e our students. To set up exercises, activities, tasks, webquests, projects through the use of ICTs is giving very positive results because students are dealing with very familiar processes and materials. Most of them use Blogs, Wikis, Social Nets, etc, so, if we use them with educational purposes, it will make them more motivated to develop any of the activity. I think they like to compete, so, for them it is a play they like very much. Using blogs where they can give their own opinions on different topics, current news or whatever, a place where they can see the results of their own activities, etc will motivate them.To finish with it, I think, as teachers, we have to continue fostering the use of these kind of tools where the students feel confortable as they are very familiar with it and above all, because they feel the center. Teachers must be in mind, they have the main role.
